The recent spams (which may well be the subject of this discussion) were made by a person running a commercial for-profit business using a variety of different names, forged net addresses, and in some cases forged authorizations to post to newsgroups / mailing_lists. Aren't there laws in place to cover these acts (for business especially) as criminal fraud in interstate commerce?
