Greetings,

I am a Catholic University student doing a project on integrating the Internet into Library services and I'm soliciting any experiences that you might share with me. In particular, I am concerned with security issues.

Here are just a few sample questions:

  1. What type of library is your library, and has there been a security problem when using the Internet? What type of problem was it?
  2. What Internet security measures do you now take? What measures do you see your library taking in the future?
  3. What security issues have you experienced as you've become more involved with the Internet?
  4. Any good experiences or stories? Any bad ones? Please, let loose.
  5. Do you or your patrons feel vulnerable to Internet security breaches?
  6. In general, what are your feelings about libraries and Internet security?

This is just for starters. Please, feel free to tell me anything that you'd like about this issues.

Please e-mail me at: BrianJudge[_at_]aol.com

Sincerely,

Brian Judge (Washington, DC)
