Copyright and BBS ready cdroms.......

I own several BBS ready cdroms with lots of computer images on them, now can I take portions of pictures from lets say 10 cdroms and put them together to publish my own one cdrom?.....also some of the cdroms don't have a copyright mark on them (some don't even have the publishers address or name !) so is it legal to copy portions of them and resell them?
