I am presently writing a research report for my final year of LLB at Wits University, South Africa entitled, "Copyright Infringement in Digital Publishing."
On the topic of copyright law in the US I have recently read the white paper published by the Working Group on Intellectual Property Rights. Although I have seen some disagreement with the white paper viz. in the form of an article in Wired magazine and the home page of the Digital Domain Coalition, I have not seen anything of a legal nature. I was wondering if anyone might know of a recent article that highlights the problems with the white paper; specifically the problems concerning the interpretations of some cases that the white paper seems to rely on quite heavily.
