Faculty ownership of IP

     At the risk of reviving a topic discussed some time ago on this list, I recommend to you a new article on the issue of faculty ownership of intellectual property. The article is a student comment by Sunil Kulkarni entitled "All professors create equally: why faculty should have complete control over the intellectual property rights in their creation." It appears at 47 Hastings Law Journal 221 (1995).

     The author discusses the law, current university policies and then makes a creative proposal. I think it is a very fine contribution.
