Ah, yes, the Coca-Cola bottle! The IP instructor's best friend! On the first day of any course where I have to spend a good deal of time covering intellectual property, I can always count on a student to have a bottle of coke (or, in a pinch, a can). Then, after I briefly describe each major type of intellectual property, I have the students find it on (or in) the container. Cite a celebrity endorsement of Coca-Cola, and you can fit in the right of publicity, too!
