I hope one of you can help me. One of our faculty has identified an article that he feels would be a useful addition to our collection. We are attempting to order the journal issues so that we can buy them, that is not always possible..
should we: contact publisher and ask permission to add a photocopy to our collection.....purchase the documents from a commercial document service....obtain them through our normal ILL channels and pay copyright through CCC.
We are not sure if the copyright payment to CCC would allow us to add the item to our collection (it is my understanding that that fee is geared towards single users/single uses - this would be - hopefully - multiple uses....
Thanks in advance for your assistance...
