In the UK, there is no copyright registration system. However, you can now register as trade marks items that are incapable of 2 dimension representation (registrations so far include the Coke bottle shape, the smell of Chanel No. 5 etc). The Trade Mark registrar will accept all sorts of representations - I am aware of broadcasters applying to register channel idents and providing videos ...
