It might not only be a copyright problem, it might also be a trademark problem.

In many cases the site of interest might have given permission if asked, and if permission is given that probably means there is no problem.

What's going on here is not only an HREF link but also an IMG link. The IMG link is what troubles me (and you, apparently). See "May I use images from the Web sites of others?" at
