The worldwide computer industry has created one of the fastest growing and most challenging legal practice areas today -- computer law. The practice deals with the legal aspects involved in developing, distributing and using computer technology throughout all aspects of the global economy. The field of computer law is very dynamic and is growing very rapidly. More and more practitioners are encountering legal issues involving computer technology. The Computer Law Association, founded in 1971 and having 1400 members in twenty-six countries, seeks to inform the legal community about practice in this area and is committed to providing a forum for the exchange of ideas and an in-depth examination of all computer issues. For computer law, CLA is where the action is!  

The CLA's non-profit purpose is to inform and educate attorneys and solicitors about the unique legal issues arising from the evolution, production, marketing, acquisition and use of computer-communications technology.
