*Tasini et al. v. The New York Times et al.* is pending in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. Last fall oral arguments were heard on both sides' motions for summary judgment. Judge Sonia Sotomayor has indicated that there will be a ruling soon -- which we think means any week or any day now.
