Those interested in this thread and Gaye especially might want to take advantage of a FREE download of my book "Internet Law Simplifed: An Easy Guide to Making Money, Staying Out of Trouble and Protecting Your Rights."

It's on my site.

This book may help identify many of the legal issues a site owner/developer may face. It of course recommends that an attorney, knowledgeable in Internet issues, be consulted throughout the process of creation and posting. Best to have such legal advice early on in the process rather than when something goes wrong. Help me is almost always cheaper than fix me.
