To those of you who have been following the lengthy litigation over the posting of Scientology documents by Lerma, this morning's Washington Post has the latest update:
Judge Brinkema (E.D. Va.) ruled on April 28 that Lerma must pay the church $2,500, issued a permanent injunction against Lerma from posting the documents online, and allowed attorney's fees to the church.
This is the sequel to the Oct. 1996 ruling by the same judge, 1996 WL 633131 (E.D. Va.), 40 USPQ2d 1569. However, it is unlikely to be the last word in this ongoing litigation.
