On a visit to the TotalNews site, I observed that, when following the link to the NY Times, TotalNews' frames disappeared after a few seconds, leaving the NY Times page frameless and er, naked, so to speak. I am reliably informed, although I don't understand how they did it, that this effect is accomplished using Java. None of the other sites I checked seem to have cottoned on yet. Interesting. What sort of a situation do we have now?
