See also Shepler's Catalog Sales, Inc. v. Old West Dry Goods Corp., 830 F Supp 566 (D. Kan. 1993), directly on point. There the court stated that copying only the order form out of a competitor's catalog did not amount to infringement as no "protectable" matter was taken.
