Re: a nudge for me

I am afraid I deleted the message requesting a joke about copyright, as I had never heard one, then while driving home I made one up. Perhaps it is a little lame, but at least it's an effort.

A senior Librarian walks into the Library copy room at a well-known US University and sees a student busy making many copies of a course text book.

"Good heavens" (or equivalent American expression), "Aren't you worried
about copyright?" shouts the outraged professional.

"Sure," says the student, "It's a real drag. I have to stay here and
watch the machine all the time because sometimes the paper gets jammed and the machine doesn't copy right."

PS I find much of this discussion list very interesting, some of it fascinating, and it has been very useful in clarifying our (non-profit making) Institute's policy on copyright.
