As some of you may recall, the PTO posted electronic transcripts of the IITF Working Group on Intellectual Property public hearings held in November, 1993 and September, 1994. The transcript of the 1993 Hearing came down pretty quickly, but the four 1994 Hearings were available on the web for some time. They have since disappeared. I asked Peter Fowler whether there were any plans to put the transcripts back on the web, and he said that there were not. I have electronic copies of all five transcripts, which I downloaded as soon as they became available, and have used for reference ever since. I think that they ought to be publicly available on the web somewhere (somebody besides me has to be interested in this stuff), but I don't have anywhere to put them.
Before I try to scare up some web space for them somewhere, do any of you have an interest in posting them? Each of the five files is between 200 and 350 KB.
MODERATOR'S NOTE: Jessica, we might all benefit if somebody with a larger collection of legal materials were to add them to their collection. However, I'd be willing to make them part of the collection on the CNI website, if you would like. We have a few other odds and ends kind of things related to IP that we've collected over the years stored here.
