I too am trying to trace a US publisher by the name of A.S. Barnes & Co. Inc. They were incorporated as late as 1980 in Delaware and dissolved or filed for bankruptcy shortly thereafter. If anyone can provide some information about them or hints on how to track them down, a trustee, or who bought the assets it would be greatly appreciated.
I had a search run of the copyright records and had the Delaware Corporation Offices run a search which thus far has brought little returns...
