Life under stupid database legislation

I am working for the Consumer Project on Technology on issues of Intellectual Property.

I have been asked to write up examples of what life would be like under HR 2652, the database legislation which passed the House of Representives recently, and which is pending in the Senate. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated. They have to concern concrete and specific effects. Most hill staffers and Senators don't have a clue, and it has to be pretty hands on. Thanks.
