On the web, I guess, there is a company who tracks for a fee(?) all the registration numbers. To be fully protected especially toward the digital media, I strongly suggest you to consider watermarking products like SureSign by Signum http://www.signumtech.com/ that will embedd and protect digitally, your ownership in court as well.
