I seem to recall a review of a stage show, probably here in sunny London, in which the estate discovered that a Hendrix track (? "Are you experienced") was being used. They withdrew permission - on the grounds that the show was packed with sex, drugs and rock'n'roll :-)

Too busy to dig up a precise reference without overriding incentive...
