Well, you should know whether you took it from someone else, or if it was an original creation (or somewhere in between). Copyright only protects works of original authorship, so if you didn't take it from someone else, you probably didn't infringe anyone else's copyright. Remember, in copyright infringement, bona fide independent creation is a good defense.
