I have not seen any comments here or elsewhere about a particular aspect of this bill that strikes me as important. Section 103 of the bill amends Sections 203(a)(2) and 304 (c)(2) of the statute by adding a new class eligible to terminate transfers of copyright, i.e., : the author's executor, administrator, personal representative, or trustee ..." Under the current statute, only the author or the author;s widow, widower, children or grandchildren had such a right.

Anyone care to comment? This seems like a substantive change in the law with significant ramifications.

Thanks.
