Why do you presume that?
Aside from the usual questions of fair use, etc., the U.S. government condemned a fair amount of German intellectual property in both WWI & WWII. (That is how Bayer lost its name in the U.S.) I have no idea whether Nazi posters were among the takings, but I certainly wouldn't presume that they weren't.
