And what bothers me is that the ultimate decision in this type of legislation (Copyright Extension) is hinged more on PAC money and contributions to the Republicans or Democrats (depending on who is in power) than it is on the merits of the legislation. The staff can only advise... the moral responsibility of Congress is absent. Unless campaign reform becomes a reality, the "big boys' will be able to buy legislation, irrespective of it's merits.
