Re: Electronic Reserves

Why is it that all these posts about library reserves, whether electronic or not, assumes that all the students will walk into the library, check out the reserve material, take it to the photocopier, make copies and return it again? Personally, I never did that. I always checked out the reserve material, used it in the library for as long as allotted or needed and returned it. I saw many of my fellow students do the same. There is a large number of students who do not infringe (a 30 page article will cost about $3 to copy - students can use that money to buy lunch, or, more importantly, a beer. I knew MANY students who would not have done any copying because it wasn't worth the money to them). How many students are actually making all these copies?
