I'll only address the copyright issue and only under US law. If *you* take a picture of a golf club, what copyright would be involved? A copyright on the design of the club? Doesn't sound plausible to me. Are there markings on the club? Hard to imagine that those are copyrightable either, as numbers or short words and phrases are generally not copyrightable. Thus, I'm at a loss to find a potential copyright violation in what you're doing. Maybe there are facts that are eluding me.

Of course, there may be other legal issues involved, like trademark as one example.
