It probably will depend upon the movie itself (and the country in which it was produced), the producers, and any unions involved. Contact SAG (Screen Actors Guild) for specifics on the movies released by the big U.S. studios; otherwise get in touch with the producer, if possible.

And as ever, it's always a good idea to contact the people whose work is involved and ask for their permission.
