Danish Copyright

I am seeking some advice on Danish copyright.

We would like to use a color illustration done by H. Gruvold, who died in 1940. The work in which the illustration first appeared was published in France in 1930.

So, am I correct in assuming that his painting, which was published in a French publication, falls under Danish copyright law? If so, does anyone know the duration of copyright in Denmark?

Thanks very much.
Linda
