I wonder if anyone on this list is familiar with any litigation regarding software emulation of computer hardware. For example, there is (licensed) software available which permits one to run Windows and windows based applications on a PC computer, but there are also other types of emulation out there. I am trying to find out whether anyone is familiar with any precedents in this emerging area.
