Our university is beginning to offer web-based courses for our distance education program. As a part of each course, we would like to have ..gifs of the covers of textbooks displayed on the course web site. I have seen many of the online bookstores display covers of books, but I am unsure if it would be an infringement for a university. Have any other universities done this for their distance ed. courses?
Any advice would be helpful.
