Washington Area Lawyers for the Arts (WALA) and the D.C. Bar Arts, Entertainment & Sports Law Section are sponsoring "Entertainment Law: The Year in Review," a workshop being held on Wednesday, February 17, from 8:30 - 11:00 a.m.
The workshop will be presented by Stan Soocher, Editor-in-Chief of Entertainment Law & Finance, and author of the recently published book "They Fought the Law: Rock Music Goes to Court." Soocher's annual wrap-up of the leading cases affecting the entertainment industries will include informative accounts of the facts behind many of these cases.
The cost of the workshop is $40 for members, $50 for non-members. Students may attend for free, with the presentation of student identification.
The workshop will be held at 815 15th Street, N.W., at the 10th floor conference room.
