The Ticketmaster v. Microsoft lawsuit concluded with a settlement for wich Microsoft agreed to not provide any deep link to Ticketmaster Web site.

Yes, according to Internet World, it's been settled. Unfortunately, we'll probably never know anything about the settlement. So anyways, deep link here:

The case has just been reported as settled, with Microsoft apparently agreeing not to deep link into the Ticketmaster site, but to link only to the Ticketmaster home page As a result, Sidewalks users will be exposed to Ticketmaster advertising -- the result Ticketmaster wanted.

Here's a cryptic release from BusinessWire, February 23rd.
LOS ANGELES (ENTERTAINMENT WIRE) - The parties have settled the action brought by Ticketmaster against Microsoft on terms that are confidential and mutually beneficial. Recent published statements regarding other purported terms of the settlement agreement are incorrect.

It settled. Terms are confidential. But if you visit sidewalk.com, it sure looks like Microsoft has stopped its deep linking practices.

I can't remember where I saw it, but I saw a notice that the case had settled about a week or so ago. I think I read it on CNET's newspage.

The lawsuit settled in late January; an announcement was made a couple weeks ago and appeared in the NY Times.
Details of course were kept confidential.
