SONY v. Connectix

Saw this posted in Bytes in Brief and thought it might be of interest to the list.

Sony Computer Entertainment filed a suit against Connectix on January 27th, alleging that its Virtual Game Station (VGS), which allows certain Sony PlayStation titles to operate on G3-based Macintosh computers, infringes on its intellectual property rights. On February 4th, the federal district court in San Francisco refused Sony's request for a temporary restraining order to halt VGS sales. Details may be found in the Connectix press release at
