I spoke with someone in the State Department Treaty office yesterday who confirmed that the Trademark Law Treaty has not yet entered into force in the US, but she thought that it would be signed and deposited by June, 1999. That means that the Trademark Law Treaty Implementation Act will take effect in October 1999, one year from its enactment.
