Just a point of clarification.

Please Note that <http://www.internic.com/> is NOT related to <http://www.internic.net/>. The latter is the former website of InterNIC, now located at <http://www.networksolutions.com/>. The former is an unrelated domain name registry service, like so many others, as indicated by the DISCLAIMER conspicuously placed on its website and which is located below.

Thus, if you register with <www.internic.com> you will have to pay them a registration fee IN ADDITION to the $70.00 fee (for two years) required by InterNIC.
