Aircraft in advertising

I'm working on an advertising poster featuring photos of aircraft used in various wars around the world. Along with clearing the owner of the photo, do I need to get permission from the manufacturers of the aircraft as well because a trademark is associated with the aircraft and we are associating this trademark with a product or cause?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
