Can anyone suggest some URLs for background on this topic:
Author, who has not been published, wants to put works up on a website for friends to be able to read. What are the issues re publication (ie, can she later sell the work as previously unpublished), realistic protection of her work from copying (ie, not a publisher, few resources to police the Internet for illegal copies).
If folks have a quick and dirty response, great, but I suspect this info is available in a few places, and I don't want to burden the list with lengthy debates. Pointers to URLs alone would be dynamite. Thanks.
