Have a question which may or may not have an easy answer.
If a publisher is granting copyright permission for a fee, for a course packet, is there anything which would prevent the retailer of said package from adding a cost margin on the entire package, copyrights included? That is, if copyright fees cost $xx and cost of printing was $xx, and the two added together was $xx, can a retailer add cost of doing business to that final figure, or is there something that says it can only be added to the cost of printing?
Thanks!
