I just printed your paper and am looking forward to reading it, but when I saw footnote 3 I couldn't wait to comment.
This footnote cites an article by my husband, Richard Harrington. We were married on May 16, and we had met about a year before that -- when I called him up after reading the article you cite, and asked to borrow his copy of the Negativland book.
