Interesting...

According to the magazine from where I got this news, the mayor of Venice would like to apply the trademark AND the copyright to anything related to Venice: name, usage of the city name for commercial purposes, re-creation of the city on other locations (see Las Vegas for example, ecc.).

I understand from this list that this intent from the major is going to be very difficult to achieve: I agree with you! I just want to raise here the awareness about this matter.
