You might like to look at Sam Ricketson's book - The Law of Intellectual Property: Copyright , Designs and Confidential Information, published by LBC this year. Since its publication, the High Court has published its judgement in the Powerflex case which deals with a number of issues including protection for computer software. You'd find that on Austlii, referred to in Tara Gutman's e-mail.
