Canadian Copyright Law is a very useful work. It is a 1992 work published by McGraw Hill and authored by Lesley Ellen Harris. She is a regular contributor to this list at copyrtlaw[_at_]aol.com

There were some recent amendments the effects of which are canvassed in "The New Copyright Act" published by Insight Press of Toronto in June 1997.

Another useful book is the Annotated Copyright Act published by Carswell and edited by Normand Tamaro.

Hope this helps
